- Mandatory “Research Ethics” Course beginning from Fall 2018
Beginning from academic year 2018/2019, M.A. and Ph.D students are required to take at least 6 hours of online research ethics course within the first year of their enrollment. Students who have completed this requirement need to provide proof to their department’s office. Students who fail to do so will not be able to apply for the thesis/dissertation defense.

After completion of the online course, students will be able to download the proof of course completion (one day after the final exam of said course).
If students have already taken research ethics courses prior to their admission to NTU, they can apply for waiving this course. To apply, please provide proof of course completion and contact the Office of Academic Affairs.
