2019.04.24 Institutes of HPM and HBCS Career Exploration Workshop

In the noon of April 24th, the Career Center of National Taiwan University (NTU) held a career exploration workshop, which was co-organized with the Institute of Health Policy and Management (HPM) and the Institute of Health Behaviors and Community Science (HBCS). The students in the Department of Public Health, HPM and HBCS were invited to join this workshop. The consultants with the experience of the field of HPM and HBCS provided pieces of advice for students to understand their suitable jobs and plan their future career life.

The students were asked to fill the test on CPAS (Career Personality Aptitude System) beforehand and received the results on the day. The fee of the test was paid by the Career Center of NTU.

The students mentioned that they gained much from the workshop. They could get more understanding about their personal characteristic for the career from the test result, which would be the reference for their career planning and potential development.

At the end of the workshop, the speakers mentioned about the proportion of the types of jobs of the alumni, making new graduates feel that the future perspective is still full of hope and challenges.

The summary of the workshop from the students was: “On the road of life planning, the choice is always in your hands. The success only comes when you understand your own talents and choose the right stage.”
